We exist to empower members for service

As believers, it is our responsibility to usher in the kingdom of God here on earth. Jesus prayed to God the Father, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” We want to be a church that plays a tangible part in seeing the kingdom of God ushered into the city of Waco.

We are everyday people doing everyday things with gospel intentionality. Join us in partnering with God to make kingdom impact in our city through serving with our local ministry partners!

Ways to serve Locally

Mission Waco

Mission Waco provides Christian-based, holistic, relationship-centered programs with the purpose to empower the poor and marginalized, mobilize middle-class Americans to become more compassionately involved among the poor, and seek ways to overcome systemic issues of social injustice which oppress the poor and marginalized. They empower the church to step in the gap for low-income communities for restoring dignity and purpose.

Isaiah 117 House

Isaiah 117 provides a comforting transitional home for children of all ages who are entering the foster care system. They exist to be a safe place filled with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This environment allows children to receive the comfort and care they need while they await the right foster care placement.

Care Net

Care Net Pregnancy Center exists to elevate the value of life by providing compassionate care, accurate information, and practical support to men and women facing unplanned pregnancies. They offer free and confidential pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, optional counseling, and create ways to walk alongside local families in need of help during their pregnancy.

Compassion WACO

Compassion Waco is dedicated to the belief that all individuals in society should be treated with respect and dignity, irrespective of their condition. They exist to empower the church to give a helping hand to those individuals who, by whatever circumstance, have become or are on the verge of becoming homeless through providing consistent housing and practical help for struggling families.

The Shepherd’s Heart

Shepherd's Heart, the largest faith-based food pantry in Central Texas, exists to make a difference in the lives of others by ministering to the needs of the hungry and hurting. They desire to serve families who are struggling to make ends meet in such a way that lives are tangibly changed, and people experience the love of God through the people of God.

Mentoring Alliance

Mentoring Alliance is a Christ-centered, multi-ethnic ministry serving children and families in East & Central Texas. They connect godly people with families in our community to provide high-quality after-school programs, summer camps, and dedicated mentoring relationships. Mentors combat negative influences and help children reach their God-given potential by offering them a healthy role model, wisdom, friendship and most importantly, unconditional love.

Together for Good

Together for Good exists to create pathways for the church to come alongside vulnerable families in Christ-centered ministry. When parents face crisis with no support system, they become vulnerable. When a parent becomes vulnerable, their children are at increased risk of trauma or removal from the home. Together we work to ensure that vulnerable families and children never walk alone.

STARS book Clubs

STARS Book Clubs works towards a future where every student in Waco, Texas can read on grade level and succeed in life. They do this through mobilizing volunteers from churches in Waco who enter Waco ISD Elementary schools to provide encouragement, focused reading support, and be positive role models for students who struggle with reading.
