We invite you to come learn about why we do, what we do, and how we do it. Is usually held on a Monday night with a light dinner provided. Although attendance is a step towards membership, you are not obligated to become a member after attending. Find and register for an upcoming Connections Dinner on our Events page!
After attending a Connections Dinner, you will be sent a follow-up email within a week of attending the class. This email will detail the next steps towards Covenant Membership with Harris Creek. After attending a Connections Dinner, if you are interested in pursuing the membership further, you will meet with a staff member to complete the process. In that meeting, the final process to join will be discussed in detailed.
There are many different ways you can become a Covenant Member with Harris Creek such as Transfer of Letter (You are currently a member of a Baptist church with similiar beliefs as ours), Statement of Faith (You are currently a member of a church of a denomination other than Baptist, you are a follower of Christ, and you have been baptized as a believer), Baptism (You are professing your faith in Jesus as Savior and desire baptism), or Dual-Membership (You need to retain membership with another congregation but would like to state your desire for Covenant Membership with Harris Creek also) If you have any further questions about our membership process, please don't hesitate to contact us.
We believe there is no substitute for close-knit, deep-in-the-trenches type of community. Living life-on-life is not an option for followers of Christ, and as part of our ongoing discipleship, we all need to experience spiritual growth and accountability in the context of small groups where people intimately know one another.
Harris Creek is elder protected, staff led, and volunteer driven. We could not function without the support of volunteers. Our desire is to pair your giftings with the needs of the church and the community. Sign-up to serve today!
