Baby Dedication (Sunwest & Downtown Campuses)

Baby Dedication is an opportunity for parents to dedicate their kids to the Lord, commit to bring them up in a Christ-centered home, and receive commitment from the Harris Creek body in partnership. If you would like to participate in Baby Dedication on Sunday, October 22, please contact Jenny McCunniff (Sunwest Campus) or Storey Cook (Downtown Campus). If you have not previously participated in a First Step class, please sign up for one of our First Step classes at the Sunwest or Downtown Campus. First Step is a requirement for participation in Harris Creek Baby Dedication. To sign up for Baby Dedication, contact Jenny McCunniff (Sunwest Campus) or Storey Cook (Downtown Campus).

Throughout the Bible, the mountaintop was a place where people met with and heard from God; we want students to encounter God in that same way at Mountaintop each week. Mountaintop is our Sunday night weekly youth gathering designed around an engaging atmosphere, a compelling time of worship and teaching, and a space for in-depth discussion in youth Life Groups. We meet Sunday nights in the sanctuary at Sunwest Campus from 6-8p. Contact Kathy Davidson for more information.

Life Group Leader Round Table

Life Group Leader Round Table is a smaller format training event for Life Group Leaders to connect with other leaders and discuss the inner workings of group life at Harris Creek. This event will have more a group discussion than a classroom feel. All Life Group Leaders should sign up for one Round Table per semester. Life Group Leader Round Table will take place Monday, October 23, at the Sunwest Campus. No childcare will be provided. Register online. Contact Trent Horner or Carol Underwood for more information.

College Night of Worship

Each semester, our College Ministry comes together for a night of corporate worship. This time is a great way for our students to enter into the final stretch of the semester and allows for a unique time of community. This College Night of Worship will take place Tuesday, October 24, from 8-9p outside McLane Stadium. Contact Nate Hilgenkamp for more information.

Reclaim Recovery is a ministry of Harris Creek to help you find freedom from life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Childcare is provided for infants-5th grade. Reclaim Recovery meets Wednesdays from 6-8p in the Student Center, unless otherwise specified. Visit harriscreek.org/reclaim or contact Storey Cook for more information.

Square One

Square One is a 7-week study for first-time moms with babies 0-11 months. Each week, we will focus on a different topic including identity, wisdom, marriage, stewardship, family relationships, and growth. Bring your baby and get connected with other moms! Square One will take place Thursdays at 10a, September 21-November 2. Contact Jenny McCunniff to sign up.

Graduate is a program designed specifically for our upperclassmen that aims to prepare them for the transition after high school graduation. We meet each month to discuss relevant topics of faith, culture, and life. All juniors and seniors are welcome and encouraged to invite friends! Graduate will take place Thursday, October 26, from 7-8:30p at the Davidson Home (1901 N 28th Street, Waco). Contact Derek Davidson for more information.

Baptism Sunday

This event is a day of celebration for individuals who are following Christ's call on their lives to be baptized. You don't want to miss this powerful and exciting Sunday! Baptism Sunday will take place Sunday, October 29. If you would like to be baptized, please use the link below to register by Sept. 28.

Mountaintop Life Group Night

Because we believe that life change happens best in the context of community, we set apart one night a month for Mountaintop Life Group Night. This means that instead of meeting for large group Mountaintop, students will meet with their Life Group for the entire evening (6-8p). High School Life Groups will meet in host homes, and Middle School Life Groups will meet at Sunwest Campus. Contact Kathy Davidson for more information.

Local Missions Lab

Do you feel compelled to help transform our city but don't know where to start? Join us as we discuss topics of poverty and restoration while gaining a deeper understanding of God's love for the broken at our Local Missions Lab on Sunday, October 29, from 6-8p. Dinner and childcare will be provided. Register online. Contact Bethany Stephens for more information.
