The minutes from the June 14th meeting were reviewed and approved.
Joey White gave a brief overview of the June financials for the church as well as provided an overview of the church's progress with Our Turn. We discussed forecasting a path to December and the end of Our Turn noting various benchmarks and trends in giving. We are thankful for our members honoring their giving commitments and for others who are jumping in as we pursue the ambitious financial goal of Our Turn. Joey stated that the construction efforts are progressing well and the elders were able to go out and talk to the supervisor who informed us of what all was currently taking place.
Joey White led a discussion with regard to our multi-site model and this conversation involved various iterations of what Harris Creek could do in the future. There may be opportunities arise and we want to be prepared if/when those occur so we are having thoughtful discussions about our model now.
Brady Herbert talked about opportunities with Welcome Back Sunday in August. He gave his vision for the fall as well as the upcoming year for our church.
Brady Herbert provided multiple signposts as we closed which included discussing his upcoming sermon series: God and Country.
Multiple prayer requests and praises were given and Brady Herbert closed in prayer.
