staff spotlight

karina rivas | youth

My name is Karina Rivas, and I am a youth associate at Harris Creek. I am from Houston, Texas and moved to Waco to attend Baylor in the spring of 2022. I am currently a Junior studying Communications with a minor in journalism, religion, and Spanish. I joined the Harris Creek family in August of this year (It was a total God plot twist!!) I love youth ministry and the foundation that it sets for students in formative years of their lives. I am also passionate about leading God’s people in worship and getting to encourage the body in becoming one voice, worshiping one God. It is an honor and joy to serve in this body!
