Our Kids Baptism Class is designed for Kinder through 5th-grade students to explore the foundations of faith and understand the significance of baptism in a fun and meaningful way. This class is a required step for any child interested in being baptized. Plus, it's a special experience for parents too—one parent is required to attend alongside their child as we dive into this important milestone together.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a sacred 40-day season of reflection and preparation leading up to Easter. Recognized by the Christian Church as a time of repentance, this day invites us to enter a posture of humility, mirroring Jesus’ own rhythm of fasting and prayer in the wilderness.

We invite you to a self-guided, 25-minute come-and-go service on Wednesday, March 5, from 6:30–7:30a or 6:30–7:30p. This time of worship will provide space to reflect on our sin, our need for a Savior, and the hope we have in Christ.

staff spotlight

jack dugger | college

My name is Jack Dugger, and I get to serve on staff with the college team. I have been a member of Harris Creek for the last three years and joined staff at the start of this year. I was born and raised in Dallas and moved down here to Waco for college. I am actually still a student at Baylor studying Communication with minors in religion and leadership. I’ll be graduating in December of this year (hopefully... fingers crossed). I love getting to see God bring college students to salvation and form deep relationships with Him. It’s so amazing to get a front-row seat to the work that God does in young people during their college years. My heart is to see every college student in Waco discipled and deployed to be fully devoted to Jesus and to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth. I truly believe that Gen Z can change the world, and I’m passionate about being a part of God’s work in this generation and on the Baylor campus. It’s such an honor to serve here at Harris Creek!
