staff SPOTLIGHT

elise morgan | preteen

I grew up in Thousand Oaks, California with amazing parents and two siblings. In high school, a friend invited me to a ministry called Fellowship of Christian Athletes where I met Jesus and began learning what it meant to follow Him. I attended Baylor University (Sic ‘em Bears!) and was involved all over campus from student government, lacrosse, a sorority, Vertical, BSM, and more! After graduating from Baylor, I went on to do the Harris Creek Residency where I learned how incredibly awesome God’s Word is and how to serve the Lord both personally and professionally. On staff I serve on our Kids team overseeing Integrate (our 4th-5th grade ministry) and our Guest Check-In team, with a passion for helping kids understand the story of Scripture and the good news of the gospel! I love Waco, and you can find me in town at a coffee shop (most likely Pinewood) or hanging out with friends. Thankful for the opportunity we have to disciple the next generation through kids ministry as we send them out to be a part of God’s big mission!
